Yeah I have seen Mentat mentioned before by a fella called Vikram who posted on usenet. He is a proponent of ayurvedic remedies and here are a couple of his posts I dug up from usenet. One mentions that he takes mentat and the other is his list of anti anxiety ayurvedic herbs.

If you have any more information to add about these herbs I would be grateful to hear about it, as Vikram says these are not well known like kava, but again more interesting supplements to add to the arsenal of anti anxiety remedies :)
