Augmenting pure tryptophan to SSRI??????????????

Posted by qbsbrown on October 11, 2005, at 20:22:30

I know the scare of serotonin syndrome.
I see taking tryptophan as increasing serotonin levels, and SSRIs utilizing that serotonin more effectively.
I believe that i do have low serotonin levels, and that my SSRI won't be as effective, if at all.

I see it as harmless, as long as i stick to under 1 gram per day, same stuff my horse uses, wink wink.

What do you guys think?

regards,

Brian
