I have been taking 6 grams of fish oil (1 gram EPA) per day for about 7 months for dysthymia and ADHD.I have noticed appreciable yet modest improvement in both areas.
My question to anyone if whether there might be any benefit in increasing the fish oil? I'm aware of one study comparing 1, 2 and gm/day dosages of EPA and I think the gist of it was that there is likely little benefit beyond 1 gram EPA/day and that it may even be more effective than the 4 gram dose.
Would anyone care to share any thoughts or experiences on this? Thanks.
