I dunno much about IBS, Tom, but these come to mind as possibilities.
Lactoferrin (good brand of)
Probiotics (ditto)
Ultraprobioplex (By Metagenics...Australian company?) This is supposed to somehow increase IgA (I might be wrong) leading to increased mucosal density
Glutamine (can be stimulating)
Otherwise a really good diet like those with allergies have? Like no processed foods, not too many grains, protein with every meal, lots of good fruits and vegetables.
You could go to the LEF website and look up their IBS protocol (www.lef.org).
