Dong Quai + 5-ht1a + BDZ agonist

Anyhow, I've been reading a little more on the herb donq quai. It seems that dispite what was previously thought, the herb displays little/no estrogenic like effects.
The effects of the herb seem to be related to 5-ht1a agonism, and some agonism at benzodiazapine receptors.
It does have some calming and antidepressant effects.
