Hey
Yeah, mistermindsta (or something like that) on here said that he reckoned rhodiola was half herbal stimulant and half adaptogen. I would probably this is true. As such, stimulants are know to increase anixety in those who are susceptible to it.
The authors in book seem to think that it works for anxiety - but maybe it was the brand I had or something. I don't really know if my anxiety worsened. I think it might of, by about 25%.
But it was a very good mood brightner- it definately gave me energy and motivation and increased my sociability with no s/e - BTW insomnia wasn't/isn't a problem with me, so I can't comment about that.
I would say, start slow and low. And increase in tiny incredments to be careful of the anxiety issue, if indeed there is an issue.
I think Declan was under the impression that it enhanced OCD symptoms or something (am I right, Declan??)
I had to wait for 2 weeks to get a result.
I would really recommend it through. I'm off it and I still have bad anxiety...so who knows.
Kind regards
Meri
