I find zinc very calming. Coupled with magnesium it seems to work even better. I have a life-long problem with my zinc levels it seems - I've been taking this stuff forever, and if I ditch it I notice I am more edgy. But yes, too much can make you tired. I eat lots of iron-rich foods.
I would think adding omega-3 and B6 would help even more if one is suffering from anxiety. But zinc could be the core of my supplementation.
