If its underam, that's fine :)
Yesterady I got 36.2 underarm
Underam can be up to about 1 degree less than 37C, but I always feel OK over 36.1, and if its ever 36.6 I feel great.
Before thyroid meds it didnt seem to measure on waking, then gradually registered , and steadily rose after being on thryoid meds for a while.. my thermometer didn't go any lower than 32. But I haven't hard of anyone that low.. I had 5 different thermometers.. and they all agree always..so it wasnt that.
I drop them and break em at the time as I couldnt hold anything that small well.. I can now!
I hated breaking the mercury thermometers, but the digital ones all seem to agree with them anyway in my experience... sometimes I had to take my temp a few times though to get a "good " reading(same as the mercury ones) as you can't leave the digital ones underarm long enough sometimes before they "beep". So I'd give them 3 tries ..just to make sure. You're supposed to measure it on waking for the basal temp, and your temp is supposed to rise during the day.. hitting a high in the evening, I think; but it'll be later than that for you I guess if you're still on late shift :)
Also higher after eating,(thermogenesis-When you ingest food, your metabolic rate increases above the fasting level) or after exercise..similar incr in metabolic rate; which is why you take your metabolic rate as soon as you wake to get the basal rate.
This may have some links in it on taking temps

I haven't looked at it for a while so I hope they all still work.
