Personally, I don't see why not. I saw on Remedyfind.com where a 15 year old has been taking it with Prozac for his OCD. I saw that there were studies (I googled the terms "inositol" and "SSRI" together)where researchers combined inositol with SSRIs to see what effect was had on patients. If you do try it, start with a low dose, like 500mg. You could ask your physician what he thinks to be sure...however, they seldom know much about natural supplements and alternatives. I know that I'm taking taurine (an amino acid) with Paxil for my anxiety disorder and am glad to find it has helped me somewhat! I am NOT a doctor or anything like, so I can't honestly give you a qualified answer to your question. Do more research online and then you'll ultimately have to decide for yourself.
