> Hi Larry, everyone, the short version is that I found that using Yohimbine 15mg/day to augment my antidepressants prozac 20 and wellbutrin 300, clomipramine 50, (&Abilify 15mg) has helped my depression immensely. In addition to ~ 4 cups coffee/day.

> BenYes, Ben, there is a likelihood that the yohimbine underlies the cardiac sensations. Whether you're naturally a 2D6 poor metabolizer or not, the Prozac inhibits 2D6, in any case. I didn't look further, as I'd already found a key determinant of yohimbine metabolism. There is an enhancement of the sympathetic nervous system with low 2D6 function, which could lead to palpitations.
They are probably innocuous, but I don't know anything about your medical history.
My recommendation is that you discuss the sensation/concerns with your doctor. You needn't even mention the yohimbine, IMHO. It might needlessly complicate the assessment. Blame it on the coffee?
