Most relaxing amino acid?

Posted by aminos4me on July 18, 2007, at 3:28:30

Hi,
i recently weened myself off lexapro and have decided to investigate the power of amino acids to combat symptoms of borderline personality disorder.

I have had much luck with the anti depressant / energising effects of L-Tyrosine.

I am currently looking into L-Tryptophan (which is hard to come by in australia) to help with sleep + anti depressant/anti anxiety effects.

My main question here today is...
What is the best amino acid to releive peak anxiety/agitated/impulsive states that i can take mainly just when needed?

I currently still take 2.5mg Zyprexa, only when its absolutely necessary for anxiety, mood swings and instability. In fact ive maybe used it once since i went off the lexapro and began my investigation into aminos. Its just good to have that last resort on hand for emergency like symptoms, that i rarely get these days anyway.

Any input is hugely appreciated.
However my aim is to get the most releif with just amino's before i start looking into herbs etc.

THANX!
