Re: morning brain chemistry

In reply to morning brain chemistry, posted by elanor roosevelt on October 6, 2007, at 23:25:28

here are a couple of suggestions:

l-phenylalanine 100-500 mg. taken sublingually can really spark up the day.

gingko biloba increases blood circulation to the brain. (personally it just makes me dizzy)

I find spirulina to be very energizing and it gives me an almost caffeine like buzz.

the racetam family: piracetam, oxiracetam, aniracetam, etc. these can be very good for waking up in the morning. (I am very chemically sensitive, and have found that oxi and ani are too strong for me so I use piracetam. but others find piracetam too weak

hope this helps
