bipolar depression alternative

Posted by Lao Tzu on June 2, 2008, at 13:19:27

Read somewhere of a study being done with preliminary findings that N-Acetyl-Cysteine may be of use for mania and depression. So far, it's just preliminary. I am trying this with some other supplements: Acetyl-L-Carnitine, B1, B5, vitamin C, fish oil, and N-Acetyl-l-cysteine. Been a little more than a week. Have seen some improvement in depression, but they say it takes a long time to see results with NAC. They say because it raises glutathione levels this may help with bipolar disorder. ???????
