In the serotonin department, natural things to try include:

Kira brand St Johns Wort (same one as clinical studies in Germany, available online or at RiteAid and other places)

5htp starting with custom size doses of 10mg and working up as desired. Many naturopaths suggest up to 300mg a day, which in mind is insane. 50mg is a medidum dose and 100mg is a high dose as far as I am concerned.

Inositol has less evidence but is worth a try. It takes high doses.

Another natural one is Rhodiola Rosea, which to some people is better and faster than meds.

The one with the most evidence is St Johns Wort. If interested in learning more about it, go to sjwinfo.org which is a forum focusing on SJW.
