What I'm looking for is two things:
- potential health problems;
- whether I should be seeking treatment for bipolar, anxiety, depression, etc., or any combo, then what are recommended alternative treatments for whatever I should be looking at; med advice too. So-many topics in one; I can't classify them into seperate message boards like a computer hard drive partition. It needs to be in the interactive DRAM, or whatever it's called now, not the hard drive.I think its important to look at life events, family history, personality, and how your symptoms occur and reoccur in the context of your life.
When I go to psychiatrists, they talk to me for 5 minutes then conclude from a coversation what neurotranmitters are problematic in my brain and write a prescription.
I can't go the next 20 years trying to find a combination of medications that will let me feel normal. Not even 10 years. Not 5. I want to live. I think first, the cause of the problem needs to be found. There some amazingly insightful people here. I really need the opinions of people here before I go to more doctors.
