The poster is asking about N Acetyl Cystein, which has been shown to be somewhat effective in OCD.
Bob12, I would go over to the alternative board, ask the same question, and search through it looking for a thread on NAC, I'm almost positive there is one.
It would not hurt to try NAC. If anything, NAC appears to be generally good for overall health. You may have to tinker with dosage. I buy Jarrow's NAC Sustain and split the tablets in half, this goes a long way. I do not take it for OCD though.
