Herbs for depression and mood

Posted by Lao Tzu on May 22, 2010, at 9:23:56

I've been doing a little research and have found some mood-boosting herbs and spices that might help. These include:

ginger, gingko, peppermint tea, garlic, cinnamon, Rosemary, cardamon, basil, Early-grey black tea. Personally, I haven't tried them all, but I do like ginger and gingko. I'm going to try garlic next, it seems to have a slight mood-boosting effect. I'm trying these herbs in addition to a good vitamin regimen. Someone on this site says that garlic and coffee enemas have helped a lot. Interesting!

Cheers!
