I'm in the process of reading "Optimum Nutrition for the Mind". That and "The Healing Power of Minerals" has lead me to purchase a bottle of blackstrap molasses to use instead of/along side brown sugar as a sweetener in my oatmeal and tea. The say all the good stuff is stripped out of white sugar (like chromium), but molasses maintains it. Too bad there doesn't seem to be much information on the trace minerals.
