Vitamin D causing dry mouth, sleep problems

Posted by Bob12 on November 19, 2010, at 11:33:05

Hi,
At the end of October I took 1200 IU of Vitamin D for around a week. I then reduced down to 800 IU. I am experiencing dry mouth, sleeping problems, and increased irritability, which I think is due to to the 1200 IU being too high a dose for me.
I know Vitamin D is stored in the body's fat tissue for a long time.
When can I expect these unwanted side effects to go away?
thanks
Bob12
