Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone here has had any success with treating ideas of reference with dietary supplements of any sort. I currently take 5 mg of Abilify for the psychotic component of my schizoaffective disorder, and it keeps my ideas of reference under control. However, I experience a lot of apathy and so much cognitive blunting that I no longer feel comfortable driving now that I'm on the medication. I've also noticed significant reductions in my ideas of reference on other antipsychotics that I've tried, but I found them to be intolerable. I can basically tolerate Abilify at 5 mg, but I feel like the two side effects that I mentioned here are getting in the way of my recovery, and I'm interested in knowing if there are any alternative ways of treating ideas of reference, which are the main symptom that my Abilify treats. So, if any of you have had success at keeping your ideas of reference under control with supplements, please let me know.
