Thank you for your response. As far as your question regarding whether or not l-methylfolate has anti-histamine effects is concerned, I'm afraid that I haven't been able to find anything that definitively states the effect that l-methylfolate has on histamine. On one hand, I've read that methylation deactivates histamine, but on the other hand, I've read that folic acid tends to be helpful for those who are low in histamine (which might mean that it raises histamine). With l-methylfolate being a methylated version of folate, I think that it would be difficult to predict how the supplement would affect histamine, especially without any definitive data on the effect of l-methylfolate on histamine.
