In reply to Sceletium Tortuosum anyone?, posted by former poster on March 31, 2014, at 16:40:58
Former poster,
I tried sceletium tortuosum, also known as kanna, a few years ago. For some reason, taking one drop from the tincture version of the herb that I was taking seemed to improve my energy and concentration and reduce the severity of my hypersomnia, but taking more of it ended up worsening my energy, or so it seemed.
For whatever reason, the benefits that I noticed from sceletium tortuosum lasted for about a month, and when I went back to try the herb again some time later, it didn't seem to have any effect on me. I wish I knew why I noticed such a response pattern and why I also seem to notice similar response patterns to other supplements and herbal products. My responses to most herbs and other supplements seem to be fairly atypical, so I wouldn't necessarily expect that your response to sceletium tortuosum will be the same as mine was if you end up trying it.
Best of luck to you with the herb if you do give it a try.
