I hope that you'll benefit from the cannabidiol, Lamdage22. The idea of being able to take something for psychosis that doesn't directly affect dopamine D2 receptors seems enticing. The pharmaceutical companies haven't been able to come up with an antipsychotic that doesn't directly affect D2 receptors yet (at least not one that demonstrates clinical efficacy), but maybe natural compounds like cannabidiol might be able to serve as replacements for antipsychotic medications for at least some individuals with psychotic disorders. Then again, maybe that won't happen, but it's good to hear of something different that may at least help in the treatment of psychosis.
