If L-Tyrosine were to work

It would work right away, right? I started L-Tyrosine yesterday to increase dopamine and mental concentration. My understanding is this supplement isn't one of those that needs time to work. If it's going to work on you, you should feel the effects that day. Am I correct in this assumption?
