Thank you all for your feedback. I try very hard to treat him as an adult, but I do think he's being manipulative. But if he persists in treating my husband and I this way, I'll stick the apartment classifieds in his face.

I guess he has more maturing to do. Heck, I'm 51 and feel I have more maturing to do, too.
