Has anyone had their metabolic rate tested?

Hi

Next week I am paying a silly amount of money to find out what my metabolic rate it. I will have to breathe into machine and then I will know how many calories a day I need to eat to maintain, gain or lose weight. I have always wanted to know because I feel like I have NO metabolism.

Has anyone had this done?
