I felt the same way when I became agoraphobic, but, we need to acknowledge our accomplishments in overcoming the fears, whether they be big or small. And, getting in your car, going to your daughter's office and meeting her colleagues and the lawyers in the office is certainly no small feat when a person is dealing with anxiety and fears. I think you should be giving yourself a big pat on the back, and reminding yourself the next time you think you can't go somewhere of what you were able to do. It's good, Phillipa. Anyone who has struggled with anxiety and agoraphobia will tell it is a step in the right direction and something to be proud of.
Be good to yourself.
