> I was informed today by my boyfriend of 3 years that my weight has driven him to want me out of the house. I have been saying for years that I want to lose weight and get down to a cuter weight. 130ish. He says I have no motivation and can not stick to any plan I set. This was harsh but true. I have not really tried too hard to do it. He doesn't want to be with me anymore and he said I need to be out by the end of the year. I am so depressed to start and now I know I won't have the motivation to do anything. I AM SO PATHETIC.
Perhaps it's time for a new boyfriend who can see the beauty he lives with and not the beauty he wants to live with? Gorgeous at any size!! And *not* pathetic. There is nothing wrong in wanting to improve how we feel about ourselves, but personally, I haven't found negative messages to be good at providing motivation for me in any area of my life.
Positive affirmations, attainable goals, what will make you feel good about yourself - this is where you'll find success!Nice to meet you, I'm ClearSkies.
