I'm in BC, & in the circle of people I know, both friends (who think similarly minded) & co-workers (who are very diverse & don't really think like me), almost all against the war & don't support America - only a few older ones & I mean a "few". If you refer to the Prairies as western Canada, yes, there are many more there who support the war. But BC doesn't think like the Prairies, even if Campbell (BC premier) likes the war. In the heavily populated areas of BC, the people are much more diverse, tolerant of other cultures, & come from an array of different backgrounds & countries. When I lived on the Prairies, I was considered an outsider.
