If there IS a God, and He is therefore the one who created everything and set it all in order - His order, then it follows that His opinion about everything would be the only correct opinion. Not mine, not yours, but His.
He, being the Creator, is the more supreme being, compared to us, the creatures. An analogy: how could the clay tell the potter what's what?
Each of us, as creations of the creator, has a finite mind, and a finite set of experiences from which to draw our opinions. Thus, we can be mistaken in our opinions about infinite things. When I said, "the rest of us are merely speculating based upon our finite experiences," I was including myself in "the rest of us".
The Creator, who posesses an infinite mind, and isn't limited by anything, is the source of all truth.
I, speaking as only one of the billions of creations, choose to revere the opinion of the infinite Creator, over the opinion of any of the finite creatures. Including my own.
If I've said something illogical, then correct me.
Or is it time for me to be blocked for 64 weeks, so soon?
Shalom, Dena
