Mosquito bites

I've got them coming up all over my arms and legs at the moment and am trying *really* hard not to scratch them, but it's not working. I've heard that deodarant and vinegar can help stop the itching, so I've tried them on 2 bites but they haven't done much.
Any ideas? Thanks.
