Could a bad heart be causing my depression?

Posted by scatterbrained on September 22, 2004, at 18:00:27

Hi. I have severe cognitive problems associated w/ my depression and a feeling of these waves of confusion, almost seizure like but I've been tested for that and I'm fine. It seems that the problem, more than the depression, is the confusion. I take zoloft 100, serequel 50,
sam-e, lamictal, just started namenda, and take beta blocker for tremor. A strange and worrysome thing happened when I started the namenda, I started to get these arythmias and palpitations and these waves of confusion seemed to get more and more severe which makes me think there might be something vascular going on. When I took the beta blocker I felt as if I couldn't breath normaly. What could this be? These waves of confusion happen all the time, in an almost rythmic way, which seems to indicate something w/ my heart. hasd anybody else experienced this? what should I do? See a cardiologist?
