Okay, I filled a rx for Avapro 75mg. I REALLY need to take this probably since my last pressure was 180/100. But I am scared to death to take it! The pharmacist said take it at night, the doctor didn't know what he was talking about. The doctor said take it in the morning (no explaination why, but he was firm about that). The pharmacist said Bextra (yeah I still have some) would make it not work. All the books I have read have said to be sure someone is with you when you first take one because your airways might swell up so you can't breath or talk. Well, that is easier said than done. In the morning I am alone. At night, my husband is home, but what am I supposed to do take it and go to sleep? Not possible. I'll be waiting to die.
My stress level right now is just about through the roof. I just started accupuncture for my knees. (it was free--a clinical trial) I need to be on psych meds, but it looks like it will be weeks or months before that happens.
Any suggestions? I've had reactions to drugs before so this is almost a PTSD type thing with me.
