Also, a lot of medications cause loose stool/stomach upset/nausea/gastritis/irritable bowel etc. So can the type of food you eat..

If you are on several meds it makes it difficult to determine which is the culprit. Particularly if there are several doctors involved.
There are anti-diarrhea agents available over the counter. Loperamide is a common Anti-D med available everywhere.

But these should only be used short term, and more particularly not used in order to cover up potential other more serious forms of health issues of the sort Larry mentioned are ruled out.

There is a big difference between having loose stools a few days a month and for weeks. A few day's is much less a concern. But do speak with a doctor, or even a pharmacist before you start combining too many medications as it can become very complex and dangerous....
