I'm getting something from my doc for what I'm sure is an oral yeast infection. Blech. In a few short hours I might have relief from the pain of the last couple of weeks. I could do the happy dance. Or at least that's what I hope it is or I'm back to the old drawing board.
Gee, being happy I'm 200 pounds, and hoping I have an oral yeast infection. Life sure is strange.
Of course, on the other hand everything won't taste like a salt lick, I won't feel so sick, and I'll be able to eat again. Drat. There goes my weight loss.
And my quarterly blood glucose levels were fine!! I don't understand that. They were 6.5. Maybe I need to recalibrate my glucometer...
If I ever see my doctor again, I'll ask her if maybe it's because only my fasting levels are out of line, while the midday ones are ok.
I don't know how that doctor makes money. She sends me for tests, calls me with the results, and changes my medications, then sends me for tests again. All without seeing me! I haven't seen her in nearly a year, while I've had blood tests and meds changes every six weeks for that year.
