Imagine your migraine ~every~ day for the last few years.. *sighs*
She tried various different places for th enjections, even the other shoulder incase I was getting refered pain..
The problems are.. I have a 90 minute drive to and from work.. this causes me incredible pain where I simply can't concentrate.. I can't drive on the painkillers that give me any relief, and can't really even work when taking them as they make me so spaced out.. So I have to cope with ~no~ pain relief during the day..
And I don't know how much longer I can do it.. Not long I don't think. My marriage is seriously suffering as outside of work all I want to do is take copious amounts of pain killers.. my friends are slowly giving up on me.. I make arrangements, and then realise I cannot do them.. I have arrangements for tmorrow (saturday), that I know I can't do.. I don't know why I made the plans, but they're plans I can't get out of now.
If I lose my job I can't pay the bills.. we can't afford to live here on just my husbands wage, but my husbands job isn't one that he could easily get elsewhere.. and, anyway, we're not in a position to sel our flat as it needs a fair amount of work doing on it, and like I said, all I can do outside of work is space out.
I guess its the fact there is now no hope really.. My pain will never be any better, and being a progressive thing, it will now only get worse.
Creative problem solving?! *laughing* design a transporter that will get me from home to work, without crowds in under 90 minutes, where I don't have to carry anything?? Its not gonna happen unfortunately..
Oh well.. my contract at work runs out on 1st August anyway, so I'll be job hunting again at that point.. unlikely to get anything decent though due to my sickness record..!
