Naltrexone is usually used people getting off of heroin or for alcoholics in rehab, but I've personally known two people who use it for autoimmune disorders. One man I know uses it for multiple sclerosis and a lady uses it for lupus which is what I have. It's usually prescribed in doses of 50mg, but for autoimmune disorder it's prescribed in much smaller doses like 4 milligrams. They've had great success using it. I made a pitch to my doctor to prescribe it to me; at first he was reticent, but then he referred me to pain management doctor who did prescribe it. I started using it today. I'm so excited.
Anyone else out there either used it themselves or know someone who's using it?
