BB me is pretty complicated. But here's his plain English version of Western Blot. Okay IGM is new infection as I know you know and it rises for a while then the IGG kicks in and rises. As infection is treated it falls. But it doesn't have to fall to normal ever I have 6 bands positive. What I felt interesting is if you have once had lymes the IGM will never again rise with another bite only the IGG rises. Now he said that lymes is so complicated that many bacterias involved as you also know. But once the initial infection treated it's like a bullet that shot through lets say your shoulder and left damage. Now it's time for damage control so to speak and in my case he found I have hyperreflexia or hyperkinetic reflexes on legs and upper extremities normal. Now he found a bit of weakness on right side. And with the backpain only the first problem to address that a spondilosis, nerve inpringment or whatever could be pressing on a nerve and causing what just wrote and forgot to say I have no feeling or urge when have to urinate or defacate. I just go when I figure I should. So internal lack of sensation and weakness as have to have diarrhea or impacted. So that was the first part he wanted to tackle and what if this has something to do with the six years of no taste or smell? Also asked the MRI tech if it's possible for an MRI to say your neck vertabrae are fused as mine six years ago said without surgery she said no. That they must have gotten my MRI's mixed up. Phillipa
