I didn't actually realise until relatively recently that many war veterans are actually relatively young.

I mean, I pictured war veterans as being older. Retired. Reminiscing about wars past.

I have only recently become aware of veterans as young men (still) who joined maybe when they were 18 or 21 (I forget) for maybe 4 years (so they are maybe 22 or 25) and... Expecting?? The things they were promised with their present status as war veterans.

I know there are veterans hospitals. I heard that buerocracy is a problem. That things take forever to happen in that system. But I don't know anything more about it.

I don't even know what the main business is, of the veterans hospitals. Are they for veterans only or for family members also? Are they for war-related-injuries kind of like how NZ has ACC for work-and-home-accident-injuries? Or for medical stuff as well? I don't know. I suppose it mostly is not orthopedics and prostheses and injury rehabilitation. I don't know.

A lot seems to depend on what State you are in... I was very surprised to learn that Idaho doesn't have a Medical School. Relies on graduates of elsewhere. That seems... Not good. That's not good. That Idaho isn't developed as a state to have a Medical School and to train Doctors. That would be like if NZ didn't have... Would it be worse? Depends on the quality of what you have got, I suppose... I don't know...

I don't know.

I do know I'm sick to death of trying to help NZ Develop. NZ doesn't want to develop. It likes to be a sh*t-hole. Many people are making mega-bucks off of it just the way that it is. They love having their in-bred children selected for the money and the titles and the esteem.... Just like what England wanted to be, however many years ago...

It's tiresome and tedious trying to point out or relate obvious sh*t that was developed years and years and years ago overseas. I'm tired of it. I want to be part of leading the world, again. The forefront of things. The excitement of watching the new stuff unfold. Having a say in direction. Working with intelligent and kind and motivated individuals.

Here people are huddling in their bunkers with their money.

It's obscene.
