Adderall Absorbtion in my different body

Hi all! This is my first post here and I am excited to be a part of the group.
In a nutshell here is what I'm trying to find out:
I had RNY gastric bypass two years ago. Because of this surgery my GI track is not normal. Basically, nothing I eat goes through the duodenum and when it goes through the first part of the jejunum it has only been chewed and mixed with saliva (no gastric secretions at all).
I was diagnosed with ADD and am currently taking 20 mg of Adderall twice a day. What I am trying to determine is how Adderall is absorbed in the body and if my "plumbing" is significantly affecting it.
I have tried to find the info. Neither my doc nor pharmacist can't give me a definitive answer and I try to read through the medical literature but so much of it is babble to my "unmedical' mind that I just don't get it.
Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!
