Elle-

Not at all. The anonymity of this list is very liberating for me, because I don't feel comfortable being open about my mental health in real life (I am a Dr.al student in clinical psychology).

I do have diagnoses, yes. I have been diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder since age 12, and recently had Generalized Anxiety Disorder attatched about 1.5 years ago. I've not gotten any Axis II diagnoses but I've noticed some traits in myself...as I presume many people have. Suffice to say, enough traits that I empathize as client and yet struggle as therapist.

I'd just be fascinated to hear about the male experience of BPD, because I'm sure it's out there. I almost wonder if it isn't more common among gay men, as those who I've suspected have it have either been ex-boyfriends of mine, or gay male friends.

Best to you, and thanks for your response!!!
