Thanks. I really do appreciate your offer and, even more, your support. But, I don't know how to get into open and I think replying in real time would be a bad idea anyway.

And hubby just called me. He's heading home so I should join him. We're painting the dining room walls this weekend (did the ceiling last weekend...that's another story!) and tearing up carpet next weekend.

Thanks for the hanky offer, but I've got sleeves.

Dinah - I know the past can't be changed, and I'll happily agree to disagree, 'cause heaven knows if everyone agreed it would be a boring world.

But do you know if there is possibly a way when (if) fires comes back that I could keep working on coaching and explaining things? And I know it's hard for people to do, but is there a way to ask them to hold off opinions for a bit 'til we can see how it works out? I really do just want peace.
