In reply to Cognitive-behavioral therapy and panic attacks, posted by mmerrynick on November 1, 2004, at 0:34:43
Cognitive behavior therapy worked very well for my panic attacks, which were largely caused by OCD. "The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook" was what my therapist used. Lots of breathing techniques. I especially liked techniques that made light of my fears. Putting them to children's music and things like that.
I was on Luvox (an SSRI) and Klonopin as well. I found Klonopin worked very well.
