(((Violet!)))

Ideas about dreams:

Dreams are a way of processing, done on a plane that's non-threatening for the most part.

When I dream of my T, it's really layered. First of all, there is my real relationship with him, and tons of stuff to think about there.
Then there's the projections. The people he represents to me.
Then there's a "me" that he represents.
And surely other stuff I'm not aware of.

When I dream of him, I can be in any of those "relationships". So if I need to understand what's going on in my poor beleaguered dreaming psyche, I keep an open mind to all those parts invloved.

What I am thinking, Violet, is that if you are dreaming about her a lot, you are probably doing some really good processing all on your very own. If you wanted to you could write those dreams down and think about them. Or you can just let your mind do its thing, and trust that good stuff is going on there.

Take good care, Ms. Violet. I hope the treatment program is one that suits your needs. In the meantime, we're here! We'll listen. We care.
