Yes, definitely. Most of the time, I really believe that just seeing my therapist - having an hour to talk to her, knowing she is interested and cares - is the most important part of therapy for me. I certainly think the other stuff (insight, etc) is very important too.. but just having someone there helps so much. You're definitely not alone in feeling that way. Sometimes all we need is someone to unconditionally care.
