Hi,
Several years ago I went to a T for several months who was very supportive and helpful.
A few months ago, while suffering from depression and paranoid psychosis, I wrote her two email messages asking her questions about patient confidentiality, due to paranoid beliefs that someone had warned her about my having psychopathic tendencies. She answered the first message.
Now, being aware of having been psychotic, I wrote her a message of apology explaining that I was not in my right mind then. She has not replied, and while it is possible that she simply saw no reason to reply, I am worried that she may have been very insulted by my former messages. I had no intention of offending her and don't know how to mend the damage which may have been caused.Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
TIA,
Nellie.
