I would be frustrated too if the person that was suppose to be helping me kept dropping the ball. I also know how hard it is to speak up for oneself sometimes. But like Muffled said YOU'RE DOING IT! :) You just gotta keep on top of them. I know its hard. I generally prefer to blend into the wallpaper rather than standup and make sure I'm heard. It sounds like you're well on your way to making sure they don't forget. Just keep it up! :)
I agree with Dinah that asking for the same accomodations that you had last year seems totally reasonable. Is there a cutoff date for applying for additional support? When will you be getting an update from your advisor?
