All he's willing to do is renew my meds. He wants me to go see the sleep neurologist if I want to increase my Provigil. I'm not really surprised, since I foresaw this.
There are so darned few psychiatrists around here right now that I'm not optimistic about finding a new one. My therapist has told me that the pdoc from h*ll would take me back. Not only am I not overly enthusiastic at the prospect, but he's also told me the pdoc from h*ll now wants to leave the city. Apparently he likes to practice in a hospital setting, and most of our psych hospitals and even psych beds have shut down.
I really need to see someone who understands that the only sure thing about my state is that it changes. Sometimes I am anxious and agitated, sometimes I am a lifeless blob.
If I get up the energy, I'll try to look around, although I'm not sure what the point is to try to find doctors when they all just up and leave anyway.
In the meantime I need to call my internist about my yo-yoing temperature, and my dentist about a sore tooth.
I want to call my therapist, but I know not only is there nothing he could do, but he'd helpfully offer the pdoc from h*ll again. I don't know what on earth my therapist sees in that man, although I appreciate that his easygoing nature allows him to tolerate me.
