Hi IWS,

I think your son will never admit it, but part of him being in a snit is that school does give him something to do and being home and bored is actually worse than being in school. Exception being if he has a monster teacher like I did in sixth grade, bored at home beat being with that witch anyday.

Don't beat yourself up, you went for a walk and got some exercise- that's something good even if your son was crabby.
