Hi Alex,
So sorry you're in this horrible bind. It sucks to be unable to find any of the choices that your T seems to think you have.
I wanted to mention that I have noticed that, around here at least, Ts seem to be a lot less responsive via email than via phone. Maybe you would have better results if you called and left a voicemail? I know this isn't really the guts of your post, but I thought I'd mention it.
It's super frustrating for me that my T doesn't respond well to email, because I live by email. But I can kinda see it from their point of view. I have a friend who is a T, and she says that she rarely has time to check email during her work day. She's in a practice where she shares a computer outside her office with 5 other Ts. She's generally going from client to client all day, with maybe 10 minutes in between a few of those sessions, to visit the restroom or grab a bite to eat, or return phone calls. She only emails when she gets home, after she has put her son to bed. If her day has been long, or her son is sick, or goes to bed late, or something else comes up, then she often doesn't get to it at all.
I'm just saying. It's something I used to never consider, because I live a higher tech life I guess, and I'm so constantly hooked into my email. Sorry if this is a side track from the real issue.
Peg
